Teams that should target DeMarcus Cousins: Sacramento Kings

This entry is mainly for nostalgic purposes, as the Sacramento Kings were the place that gave Cousins his shot in the NBA. With Hassan Whiteside reportedly being pursued by a number of teams, including the Lakers, this could open the door for a reunion between Cousins and Sacramento.

Cousins was a beast with the Sacramento Kings, averaging 21.1 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game, being the unquestionable star of the city of Sacramento for over half a decade. While the pair eventually broke up, a reunion would be a treat to see for both sides.

Cousins would get a chance to play a decent amount of minutes with the Kings and a chance to showcase that he still has the talent to be dangerous in this league (without the pressures of being on a championship-hungry side).

The Kings would also benefit by having a veteran big man on the team that can help with the development of Marvin Bagley and helps the young big develop himself into a force in this league. Plus, it would just be a joy to see Cousins back in the purple colors again!
