Exploring one prime trade target for every championship contender in the NBA.

The 2021 NBA Trade Deadline is a month away and there is a chance that we could see several teams make some level of moves. As teams begin to separate themselves between contenders and pretenders, there will also be the buyers and sellers that will begin to create a trade market.

I’m not sure if we’ll see a huge name be moved at this year’s NBA Trade Deadline, which would be somewhat greedy considering that we already saw a James Harden and Victor Oladipo traded earlier this year, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see a flurry of small deals that come to fruition over the next few weeks.

NBA championship contenders will attempt to put the finishing touches on their rosters while some of the playoff contenders will be looking to jump into that category above them.

Which contenders will make a move? How big of a splash will each of them make? We explore one primary trade target that each championship contender should be keying on heading into trade deadline season.
