Utah Jazz trade target: PJ Tucker

Despite the lack of notoriety in the Western Conference this season thus far, I don’t think you could argue with the fact that the Utah Jazz has been the best, and most consistent, team in the NBA this season. They’re sitting atop the Western Conference at the moment.

It wouldn’t be surprising for the Jazz to pursue a trade at the deadline. In fact, you can make the case that they would be foolish not to. One area that the team needs to improve is along the defensive end of the floor. Even though the team is a good overall defensive unit, in the playoffs they’re going to need individual defenders to shut down some of the biggest and brightest stars.

One potential target that makes a lot of sense is PJ Tucker. The fact that the Houston Rockets wouldn’t be asking a ton in exchange for him makes it even more plausible.
