Why the Miami Heat should trade for Kyle Lowry

In a vacuum, I don’t think anyone would argue with the fact that Kyle Lowry would make a huge difference for the Miami Heat. He’d fill a true need and would be a good backcourt partner for either Tyler Herro or Duncan Robinson and would be a legit third option next to Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

Assuming that the Heat have enough assets and would be willing to appease the Toronto Raptors, there’s no question that Lowry would help this team on several fronts. For one, he fills the need of a starting point guard. No offense to Kendrick Nunn, but Lowry would be a huge upgrade.

Lowry is also a great defender that would help this team in the backcourt. He’d help take some of the pressure off Jimmy and Bam defensively and would help this team get back to its defensive DNA.
