What a potential deal for Kyle Lowry would look like for the Miami Heat

It’s likely that the Heat would need to include a young piece and some sort of draft compensation in order to win an all-out bidding war against the likes of the Philadelphia 76ers and LA Clippers in their pursuit of Kyle Lowry. That would offer some difficult hurdles that the Heat would need to clear.

The Heat could either try to bring in a third team to achieve that draft compensation or they would have to include pick swaps. Either way, it’s something Toronto would have to be OK with. It’s doable, especially with Any Elisburg in the room.

Second, Miami would likely have to part ways with Tyler Herro or perhaps a combination of two between Precious Achiuwa, Duncan Robinson, or Kendrick Nunn. And then, the Heat would have to throw in an expiring contract to make the salaries match.

A deal could look something like this:

Heat get: Kyle Lowry

Raptors get: Duncan Robinson, Kendrick Nunn, Kelly Olynyk, Andre Iguodala, pick swap
