NBA Trade Rumors: Golden State Warriors interested in Victor Oladipo?
NBA Trade Rumors: The Golden State Warriors are interested in Victor Oladipo.
Through the first half of the 2020-21 NBA season, without Klay Thompson who is out for the season due to injury, the Golden State Warriors are sitting just outside the top 8 in the Western Conference. With the NBA Trade Deadline just a couple of weeks away, it wouldn’t be surprising for the Warriors to pursue a move to help them in their playoff push.
According to a recent report, the Warriors have an interest in Victor Oladipo who could be moved by the Houston Rockets at the deadline.

"League sources say the Warriors have interest in acquiring Rockets guard Victor Oladipo."
It’s unknown what level of interest the Warriors actually have in Victor Oladipo and there’s a chance this could simply be nothing more than, “sure we’ll take him if you’re willing to give him up for cheap.” After all, the Warriors don’t have many assets that they could send to the Rockets, especially if they’re starting the bidding high.
You’d have to imagine that any deal between the two teams would have to begin with Andrew Wiggins and picks. The Warriors don’t have many at their disposal and Wiggins hasn’t done enough to raise his trade value this season.
Unless the Rockets like Wiggins as a prospect moving forward, it would be surprising for the Warriors to decide to go “all-in” on a player such as Oladipo. Plus, I’m sure there are better offers on the table that Houston could take.
I’d imagine that this is a player the Warriors would love to acquire on the cheap – such as they did for D’Angelo Russell when it became apparent the team was losing Kevin Durant. If it comes to that, the Warriors would not shy away from making such a move. Plus, Oladipo would be an interesting fit next to Stephen Curry.
This doesn’t feel too real yet, but if the market for Victor Oladipo simply doesn’t materialize as the Rockets expect it to in the weeks leading up to the NBA Trade Deadline,
