Teams to watch in the second half of the NBA season: New York Knicks

No, this is not a mistake. The New York Knicks should absolutely be a team that should be kept an eye on in the second half of the season. Entering the break, the Knicks are 19-18 and are sitting in the fifth seat of the East.

New York has played with an energy that they haven’t had in years and Tom Thibodeau has this team playing with a defensive mindset. Assuming that their young players are gone going to continue to progress during the second half of the season, there’s a good chance that New York is going to break their eight-year playoff drought.

The Knicks are also a team that could make a move at the trade deadline and if they make a substantial one, it should make for an especially interesting second half of the season for the team from The Big Apple.
