Teams to watch in the second half of the NBA season: Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics have had quite the season thus far in the Eastern Conference. They have great talent and have one of the deepest rosters in the East but somehow seem to have underwhelmed during the first half of the year.

It’ll be interesting to see what Celtics team we see coming out of the gate in the second half of the season. A lot of that will dictate how this team approaches the NBA Trade Deadline and whether or not elect to make a big move.

The Celtics have the star power to compete with the other championship contenders in the Eastern Conference but they simply haven’t played up to their potential yet. While it’s easy to blame Kemba Walker, who has struggled individually this season, this is ultimately a team game and there’s blame to go around.

Will the Celtics pick up where they left off heading into the All-Star break in which they won four-straight games? If so, this team could make a run up the standings in the second half of the season.
