NBA MVP Ladder, No. 4: LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers

The four-time NBA champion is looking to secure his fifth MVP award and further add to his legacy. If LeBron James wins the MVP, it would tie him with Michael Jordan which would no doubt add fuel to an already hot and heated G.O.A.T debate.

James hasn’t won MVP since he last won in 2013 as a member of the Miami Heat. The level of play he is exhibiting at age 36 is amazing as he continues to dominate. Now with Anthony Davis sidelined, this gives James the perfect opportunity to sway voters and show that he can still successfully carry the Lakers and lead them as one of the top teams in the league.

James will undoubtedly be playing with a chip on his shoulder after being snubbed for the award last season. Whenever James is out to prove a point, he tends to turn it up a couple of notches which spells trouble for the rest of the league because that seems to be when he plays his best.

He can fill up a stat sheet every night and can take over a game whenever he gets ready as he will be out to remind everyone that he is still the King.
