NBA Trade Rumors: The LA Clippers are interested in Terry Rozier.

With hopes of Kyle Lowry being traded slowly fading by the wayside, it seems as if the LA Clippers have moved on to another potential guard trade target. According to a recent report, the Clippers have their eyes on Terry Rozier as a possible fit heading into the final days before the NBA Trade Deadline.

"L.A. needs one to take pressure off of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. There continues to be strong internal interest in Terry Rozier, who is having a breakout season in Charlotte"

The Clippers are cruising along in the Western Conference sitting in fourth place of the Western Conference at 26-15, just one game back of the third seed and 1.5 games back of the second seed. However, this season will be all about how this team performs in the postseason. Especially after what transpired in the playoff restart bubble last season.

All that said, there are two things here. First, would the Charlotte Hornets actually be willing to move Terry Rozier at the trade deadline? And second, what would their asking price be if the answer to the first question is yes?

Would Michael Jordan be willing to trade the team’s (perhaps) second or third-best player when they have a real chance of making it to the playoffs this season? I’m not sure the answer to that question is a resounding yes.

In fact, if I had to guess, the only way the answer to that question is yes is if this is some sort of a multi-team trade in which the Hornets are able to land a big. Charlotte would need a return that would help them in the future (as they continue to rebuild) and a piece that could also help them right now (as they continue on with their playoff push).

It sounds like Terry Rozier is a pipe dream for the LA Clippers or any other team that has shown reported interest.
