NBA Trade Rumors: 5 hypothetical blockbuster trades that would make sense

Aaron Gordon to the Warriors

Aaron Gordon is in desperate need of a change of scenery and there’s actually a fair chance that the Orlando Magic end up trading him, but it likely won’t be to the Golden State Warriors. That said, I believe the Warriors would be a great fit for Gordon.

They’ll likely have to swap Andre Wiggins, but Gordon is an extremely talented player that would gain plenty by playing with Draymond Green and being led by Stephen Curry. He’s an upgrade over Wiggins and would be at a pace where he could grow into his potential – something I’m not sure he’s had the chance to properly do in Orlando.

Gordon is approaching a crossroad in his career and needs to be in a place where he can make the jump from a player with the potential to a player that is actually thriving in his talent and ability. There might not be a better place for him than Golden State.
