26. Brooklyn Nets – Day’Ron Sharpe, C, North Carolina

The Brooklyn Nets are set for the foreseeable future but if there’s one area of the team that could use a jolt of talent, it’s in the frontcourt – assuming Blake Griffin is nothing more than just a one-year experiment/rental.

Day’Ron Sharpe out of North Carolina could be a fit at this point in the NBA Draft. Sharpe has great size at 6-foot-11 but still has some work to do on his body. He needs to get into NBA shape, and he can do that with professional trainers.

Sharpe is coming off a freshman season in which he averaged 10 points and eight rebounds on 52 percent shooting from the field. Sharpe is by no means one of the most “NBA-ready” players but the talent and size is an interesting option for Brooklyn.
