27. Phoenix Suns – David Johnson, G, Louisville

The Phoenix Suns have been a great story in the Western Conference this season and this team is finally going to make a return to the postseason – the first time for Devin Booker through his young NBA career. Heading into the draft, there are several ways the Suns could go.

One option is David Johnson, a talented guard out of Louisville. Johnson, during his sophomore season with the Cardinals, averaged 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists on 39 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Johnson joining a backcourt of Booker and Chris Paul would give him the opportunity to flourish at the NBA level. He’d have time to be groomed and developed at a comfortable pace.
