5. Cleveland Cavaliers – Jalen Suggs, G, Gonzaga

The Cleveland Cavaliers may be sold on Collin Sexton as a fundamental piece to the franchise, but the verdict is still out on Darius Garland as the long-term answer at the point guard position. Jalen Suggs would be an insurance pick for the Cavs in the top 5.

Suggs was arguably the best player in college basketball this past season and is a true lead guard that would be a plug and player prospect for the Cavs. He’s a good decision-maker and an offensive wizard with the basketball in his hands.

During his freshman season at Gonzaga, Suggs averaged 14 points, six rebounds, and five assists on 51 percent shooting from the field. If there is one knock on Suggs as a prospect is his ability to hit the 3-ball on a consistent basis. He only shot 35 percent from deep at Gonzaga.
