NBA Mock Draft 1.0: Cade Cunningham is No. 1; Pistons get their star
7. Sacramento Kings – Keon Johnson, G, Tennessee
Keon Johnson just feels like such a Sacramento Kings pick. While it would probably make more sense for this team to take a chance on a center or a big but Johnson is too talented not to take at this point in the NBA Draft. Johnson is full of raw potential and could project as a player that this team doesn’t have on its roster.
Johnson would be a good compliment to De’Aaron Fox and is a player that could develop for a couple of years behind Tyrese Haliburton, who has been a standout for the Kings during his rookie season.
Johnson is a good athlete but needs to prove that he can be a consistent threat from everywhere on the floor. He only shot 26 percent from 3-point range during his freshman season at Tennessee.
