NBA Trade Deadline: Outlining 8 sensible trades for deadline day

Suns bolster their frontcourt
Cavaliers send: Larry Nance Jr.
Suns send: Jevon Carter, Jalen Smith, a future first-round pick
Larry Nance Jr. has quietly had a very nice season for a dreadful Cleveland Cavaliers team. He would be a perfect fit for Phoenix as a connector on offense and another versatile defender, playing the four next to either Deandre Ayton or Dario Saric.
He’s also under a very team-friendly contract (owed just $20.4 million the next two seasons), which is why the Suns would have to pay a premium.
For Cleveland, they pick up another future asset for their rebuild. The only notable aspect of Jalen Smith’s NBA career thus far is being selected over Tyrese Haliburton, though it’s far too early to right him off.
