The L.A. Clippers need a jolt – a guard with creativity or some north-south driving. A healthy Eric Gordon could answer that.

Miami still hasn’t filled the Jae Crowder void; and while they just acquired Trevor Ariza, it’s unrealistic to expect the 35-year old to perform night-in and night-out. This trade would help ensure that the Heat have elite shooting next to Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo at all times.

For Houston, this is another salary dump for their rebuild. Eric Gordon is guaranteed nearly $38 million through 2023 and hasn’t lived up to the contract. Avery Bradley, Maurice Harkless, and Patrick Patterson are all on expiring deals.
