The Bulls get big Vuc

Bulls get: Nikola Vucevic, Al-Farouq Aminu

Magic get: Wendell Carter Jr., Otto Porter Jr., and two first-round picks (2021, 2023)

On the surface, you can make the argument that both the Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic came out as winners with this deal. Chicago gets an all-star big man that they can place next to Zach LaVine and a player that they can continue to build around. They will likely make a strong push towards the playoffs.

For the Magic, they also made out well. You can argue whether Wendell Carter Jr. is a good enough prospect or not, but he’s still young and has talent. Not sure Otto Porter Jr. will be part of the team at all and was likely thrown in to make the money work all-around.

But you have to like the two first-round picks that Orlando is getting as they begin their full-blown rebuild. It’s finally here for Orlando, and this was just the first move for the team on the day.
