17. Atlanta Hawks – Jalen Johnson, F, Duke

Duke may have had a season to forget overall during the 2020-21 NCAA College basketball season, but Jalen Johnson is a player that could be selected in the lottery depending on how he performs and measures up in the pre-draft process.

Johnson, at 6-foot-9, averaged 11 points and six rebounds per game while shooting 44 percent shooting from 3-point range. Johnson was most known for opting out mid-season. He was a highly-touted prospect coming out of high school but left much to be desired during his first season at Duke.

He’ll need to be brought along slowly, as he didn’t even have a conventional one season with the Blue Devils, but could pay off for any team that takes a chance on him. Especially the later he’s taken in the first round.
