22. Houston Rockets (via Portland) – Ziaire Williams, F, Stanford

Ziaire Williams had moments during his freshman season at Stanford where he stood out and had clear potential to be a star but was simply just too inconsistent and that will probably be the biggest reason why he’s a late first-round pick and not a lottery one.

Still, you have to love his size ( at 6-foot-9) and ability as he makes a transition to the NBA.

If Williams has a good pre-draft process, there’s a chance he could climb up the draft boards. But if he’s available at this point in the NBA draft, any team should jump at the opportunity to get him and hope for the best. Williams has the potential to be a really good player at the next level.
