23. Los Angeles Lakers – Jared Butler, G, Baylor

Jared Butler, a key part of Baylor’s NCAA championship run the season, it’s going to be an interesting selection for any team picking late in the first round. He averaged 17 points and five assists per game on nearly 42 percent shooting from 3-point range.

The potential and talent are there for Butler, especially on the offensive end. It’s whether or not any team that selects him will be able to properly groom and develop him. That’s why I believe the Los Angeles Lakers would be a good fit.

At 6-foot-3, Butler has the size and ability to be to play either guard position at the next level. He just has to fall into the right situation.
