24. Houston Rockets (via Milwaukee) – Brandon Boston Jr., G, Kentucky
Brandon Boston Jr. has a bigger name than ability heading into the NBA draft. He is coming off a freshman season in Kentucky in which he averaged 12 points and five rebounds per game but just shot 30 percent shooting from 3-point range.
He had a rough first season at Kentucky and will need a strong pre-draft process in order to climb back up the draft boards. He’s a hard-working big wing that will bring intrigue to any team selecting late in the first round.
Boston has good size and measurables and has enough upside that any team selecting this late in the first round should be willing to take a chance on him.
