25. Denver Nuggets – Sharife Cooper, G, Auburn
Sharife Cooper was an absolute microwave-type scorer for Auburn during his freshman season. Though, where he left much to be desired was in his shooting numbers. He averaged 20 points, eight assists, and four rebounds per game, but shot less than 30 percent from 3-point range.
He will need to prove that he can develop a consistent 3-point shot, especially in today’s NBA. His 6-foot-1 frame doesn’t help him much either. Nevertheless, the raw and natural talent is there where he should be a first-round pick.
I’m not exactly sure what his ceiling will be in the NBA, but he’s the type of player that you buy-low on with hopes of cashing in high down the road.
