30. Utah Jazz – Joel Ayayi, G, Gonzaga
The Utah Jazz needs to continue to find players that will fit next to Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, in hopes they could build a team that could potentially win a championship over the next few seasons. One potential fit late in the first round is Joel Ayayi.
Ayayi is an interesting prospect that has elected to declare for the NBA Draft after his juniors season at Gonzaga. He averaged 12 points and seven rebounds per game on 58 percent shooting from the field and 39 percent shooting from 3-point range.
Ayayi improved in each season of his career and developed a 3-point shot during his time at Gonzaga. He has good size for a guard and will be an interesting prospect heading into the next level. He’d fit right in with the Jazz and would even be able to develop behind this team’s strong depth.
