4. Detroit Pistons – Jalen Green, G, G League

After hitting the hard reset button, getting a selection in the top 5 will be essential to what the Detroit Pistons hope to do in their rebuild. Even though this is likely a top 1 or 2 NBA draft, there are still valuable players that could end up being superstars taken outside the top couple of picks.

One of those prospects happens to be Jalen Green, who elected to play in the G league ignite team instead of playing in college. During his one season with the ignite team, Green impressed by averaging 18 points and four rebounds per game on nearly 37 percent shooting from 3-point range.

He’s one of the most athletic players in this draft class and his defense is what perhaps could make him a difference-maker from the moment he steps on the basketball court. Green will certainly need some time to groom himself into a polished star in the NBA, but there is potential for him to be a franchise-changing talent.
