6. Orlando Magic – Kai Jones, F, Texas

After the Orlando Magic hit the reset button and traded Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon, it wouldn’t be surprising for this team to try and fill the voids left by those two players. One potential fit with the sixth overall pick is Kai Jones, a raw, but talented, forward out of Texas.

Jones is by no means a safe pick and would actually be considered one of the riskier picks in the top 10, mostly because he’s so much of a project, but the potential for him to be a really good player in the NBA is too much for the Magic to pass up at this point in the draft.

The Magic has been somewhat careful in recent drafts and I fully expect him to take a big risk here with Jones, perhaps being taken a bit higher than most expect them to be selected.
