Playing the “what if” game with the Houston Rockets after a season to forget.
Throughout the course of your life, there are many scenarios that you could play differently in your head versus what really happened. The Movie Version of the “What if” game could be the alternate ending or casting an iconic role with someone else. What if Daniel Day-Lewis would have played Vincent Vega instead of John Travolta? Would Pulp Fiction be better? Would it be worse?
There’s been countless unanswerable “what ifs” in sports as well. Baseball, what if A-Rod was traded to the Red Sox instead of the Yankees in the trade that never was? Football, What if the Bears would have drafted Patrick Mahomes instead of Mitch Trubisky? Basketball, what if Detroit would have drafted Carmelo Anthony instead of Darko Miličić?
