8. Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies’ turnaround began last season after Ja Morant helped bring excitement and intrigue back to the city. Even though they got off to a bit of a rough start to the year, they have bounced back are once again in the running for one of the final playoff spots in the Western Conference.

They’re currently in a fight for the eighth seed and will likely be playing in the play-in tournament to cement a spot in the postseason. I believe that they’re the better team right now and will likely win any play-in against the San Antonio Spurs or Golden State Warriors.

The Grizzlies are one of the most talented young teams in the Western Conference and would bring some real intrigue and a breath of fresh air to the playoffs – whether you believe they have a shot at upsetting the Utah Jazz (spoiler alert) or not.
