Three reasons why the NBA and its fans need the Golden State Warriors to make the playoffs.

Even though the Golden State Warriors have been undermanned (without Klay Thompson) all season long, they’ve still provided some much-needed theater and intrigue throughout the year. Whether that was Draymond Green going viral after saying something controversial or if it was Stephen Curry showing flashes of previous greatness, the Warriors have still been a draw.

Though, their play on the court hasn’t been as expected. For much of the season, the Warriors have left much to be desired as a team and have been out of the top 8 in the Western Conference. Though, after winning three-straight games and four of their last five, the Warriors are now within striking distance of potentially making the playoffs – or even the play-in tournament.

With less than 20 games remaining in the regular season, there’s hope for the Warriors to make a return to the postseason even if they haven’t exactly played like they deserve one.

Nevertheless, we’ll explore three reasons why we should be rooting for the Golden State Warriors to make a return to the playoffs.
