NBA Power Rankings: Boston Celtics, LA Clippers are getting hot at the right time

19. Indiana Pacers

This was an interesting year for the Indiana Pacers. I like to look at it as somewhat of a transitional season. This team pivoted away from Victor Oladipo and acquired Caris LeVert from the Brooklyn Nets in part of the James Harden deal.

They also continued to build off the momentum that the team had created over the last few seasons and will still be in the playoffs one way or another. They will likely participate in the play-in tournament. Still, it’s hard to not think that this team took somewhat of a step back this season.

It’ll be interesting to see what this team does during the offseason and what moves they elect to make. Plus, I still believe that they will eventually have to choose between Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis.
