15. Miami Heat
It seems that over the past few weeks, the Miami Heat has shuffled from fifth in the Eastern Conference to seventh on a daily basis. And the injury to Victor Oladipo hasn’t helped any. By the way, we still don’t know if it’s a significant injury or one that he’ll be able to shake off and return by the end of the year.
Either way, there’s no question that the team needs a healthy Oladipo to hit the ceiling for the year. This team has talent on the roster but Oladipo fills weaknesses and voids in the rotation that no one else on the roster can.
Maybe Jimmy Butler catches fire in the playoffs and this team is able to make a first or second-round series interesting, but this feels like a season that ends with the Heat taking a step back.
