29. Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons are another team that has had a season to forget this year. The worst part is that they’re probably behind the Rockets as they pivot toward a full-blown rebuild. Still, one way to change a rebuilding schedule is a top draft pick or hitting on a pick.

That’s the one thing that the Pistons appear to have going for them. They’ll likely have a top 3 pick, but of course, they have to do a good job and actually make a good selection. But we can talk about that down the line.

At this point, the Pistons are just trying to get to the finish line and hope to see some encouragement from some of their younger players. Detroit is in for a long rebuild and it’ll be interesting to see how that impacts their offseason.
