NBA Power Rankings: Boston Celtics, LA Clippers are getting hot at the right time

9. Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are starting to play some of their best basketball at the right time. If this team can continue to play at this level over the last few weeks of the regular season and into the start of the playoffs, I’m not willing to bet against the Celtics and making a deep run.

The Celtics have been there before and certainly have the top-level talent to do it again. Even though the Eastern Conference is a bit more top-heavy and has a bit more overall depth, I believe that the Celtics are in a position where they could surprise and emerge a dark horse Eastern Conference contender over the next few weeks.

The big question is whether or not Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown can come through when it matters most.
