27. Orlando Magic

After finally reaching a breaking point for the franchise with their status quo, the Orlando Magic did a great job at the NBA trade deadline to get what they could for Nikila Vucevic and Aaron Gordon. They also got a return on Evan Fournier, a player that probably wasn’t in the team’s long-term plans anyway.

However, in the process, that has left this team as a shell of their former selves. They’re a bottom-five team in the NBA and will be heading into the NBA Draft Lottery in hopes of finding a bit of luck in the process of trying to identify a new franchise player heading into next season.

Orlando is going to need a little bit of luck in order to do so, but we’ve seen it’s in the past and perhaps they could find the right player for the franchise moving forward in this year‘s drafts.
