NBA Power Rankings: Boston Celtics, LA Clippers are getting hot at the right time

26. Oklahoma City Thunder

After getting off to somewhat of a surprising start at the beginning of this season, I’m not sure there has been any more disappointingly quiet rest of the season performance than the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Over the past 10 games, the team is 1-9 and is fresh off a prolonged losing streak. Not ideal. The Thunder might have plenty of draft assets but until they start hitting on some of those, or swapping those pics for established talent, this is still a team that seems a good distance away from competing or even being relevant again in the Western Conference.

Oklahoma City still has a long way to go and while there might be hope around the corner, I can’t see the Thunder making a big jump up the West standings for a few seasons.
