Bam Adebayo’s confidence will only grow for the Miami Heat
There’s no question that Bam Adebayo, in his fourth season with the Heat, has grown as an overall player and has taken the next step in his progression. He’s averaging 19 points, nine rebounds, and five assists per game on 57 percent shooting from the field.
However, this game will be a moment that he’ll remember for the rest of his career. Bam hit his first game-winner against the Nets en route to a night where he finished with 21 points, 15 rebounds, and five assists.
Not only will this game feed the confidence of Bam, but it will give Erik Spoelstra another potential player he can go to in clutch moments. Bam proved that he can create his own shot with time running out and actually hit the shot.
There’s no guarantee that this will be a season-altering win for the Heat, but there are encouraging signs that could suggest it will.
