NBA Mock Draft 3.0: Rockets take a risk at No. 1; Wolves find missing piece
10. Washington Wizards – Isaiah Jackson, F, Kentucky
The Washington Wizards have made quite the push for the playoffs in the Eastern Conference over the last few weeks. This is a team that has climbed up the East standings and finds itself possibly in contention for the play-in tournament.
Though, if there’s one area of need on this team it’s in the frontcourt. With Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook manning the backcourt, if the Wizards are able to land some help at the forward or center position, there’s a chance this team could really build some momentum heading into next season. One potential fit is Isaiah Jackson, a center/forwardout of Kentucky.
Jackson could be the rim-protector that the Wizards have needed and checks all the boxes that you want in the modern big.
