11. New Orleans Pelicans – Cameron Thomas, G, LSU

With the chance that the New Orleans Pelicans could lose Lonzo Ball during the offseason, it would make sense for this team to try to address the backcourt during the NBA draft.

At No. 11, it would be difficult to find a player that would be able to be inserted into the rotation immediately, but if there’s one player that could offer at least some help on the offensive end and it’s Cameron Thomas.

Thomas was an offense of juggernaut for the Tigers this past season and averaged 23 points per game. You’d have to wonder if that was due to volume or if, in fact, Thomas is a really good talent on the offensive end.

Either way, for a player to average more than 20 points per game on a Division I college team is impressive. I’m not sure if Thomas would be a difference-making addition immediately, but could develop into an important part of this team’s future puzzle.
