17. Oklahoma City Thunder (via Miami) – Tre Mann, G, Florida

You know what the saying is, and that it’s you can never have too much firepower. That’s exactly what the Thunder would be doing by selecting Tre Mann out of Florida with the 17th pick in the NBA draft.

You might say that the Thunder already selected a guard earlier in this draft, but it never hurts to ensure depth at a position of need for the team. Mann is an intriguing prospect that could go anywhere from late in the lottery to at the end of the first round.

He has good size for the guard position and shot 40 percent from 3-point range in college. If he can prove that he could be a consistent playmaker, Mann’s stock would rise even more. Keep an eye on Mann over the next few weeks.
