2. Minnesota Timberwolves – Cade Cunningham, G/F, Oklahoma State
The Timberwolves will be looking for a player that could be the missing link or piece for a team that has struggled mightily to bring about success with their already talented core. The hope is that Cade Cunningham could emerge as somewhat of a player that could help this team find their footing in the Western Conference.
It’ll be interesting to see where Cunningham plays in the NBA, whether he’s more of a guard or forward – he has the size and ability to play the 1-3. Would he be a good fit next to D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards?
If those three players could coexist together on the basketball floor, there might not be a more talented young four in the NBA than what the Wolves could offer.
