24. Houston Rockets (via Milwaukee) – Usman Garuba, F, Real Madrid

As the Rockets continue to acquire talent in this draft, with their third selection in the 2021 draft, Usman Garuba could be a candidate to be selected late in the first round.

He’s one of the top international players in this class and has vast experience playing overseas. He’s considered one of the top defenders at his position in this draft class and the hope is that his offensive game will eventually catch up with him as he continues to develop.

Again, as is the case with unknown prospects, it’s tough to gauge what Garuba’s ceiling would be moving forward but is certainly worth a look from a team such as the Rockets.
