The Nets have arguably the strongest roster on paper, however, there are teams out West that will give them trouble in the NBA Finals. 

Ever since the trade that sent James Harden from Houston to Brooklyn, the Nets have been dubbed the favorites to win the championship. It is not hard to see why, the team has the best offensive unit in the league with knockdown superstars in Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Harden.

With a supporting cast of DeAndre Jordan, Joe Harris, Blake Griffin, and Jeff Green, this Nets team looks like one of the best teams to ever be assembled and should realistically dominate the rest of the NBA. Their offensive capabilities are endless, however, this Brooklyn team does have limitations.

The Nets have struggled with the defensive side of the floor, with the team ranked 24th in the league on defense. While their frontcourt has improved with recent additions, they also continue to struggle against dominant opposing bigs.

These issues will become major factors when the Nets reach the postseason, and if they manage to reach the NBA Finals, several Western Conference rivals will look to expose these weaknesses. While injuries and an unforeseen retirement announcement from LaMarcus Aldridge have hindered the team recently, a number of top Western teams will match up well with Brooklyn and could prove to be too much for the super team to handle…
