NBA Draft fits: 7. Keon Johnson, G, Tennessee

Ideal landing spot: Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors are likely heading into an offseason in which they will undergo plenty of changes. There’s a good chance that Kyle Lowry is going to leave in free agency and it would be wise for this team to address the backcourt in the draft (especially after they traded Norman Powell).

One potential fit for them in the top 10 would be Keon Johnson, an intriguing guard prospect out of Tennessee. Johnson is known for his athleticism but is considered a raw offensive player. His length and defensive prowess will give him a leg up on most other “raw” prospects, but he certainly has top 10 potential.

Johnson would give the Raptors another project that the team could try and develop and bloom into a star – Toronto has one of the best developmental systems in the league. Johnson would be in a position to succeed in Toronto.
