NBA Draft fits: 9. Franz Wagner, F, Michigan

Ideal landing spot: Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers are a team that has talent all over its roster, but they could benefit from a playmaker in this draft. One potential prospect that would fit the mold, because he won’t further the backcourt, is Franz Wagner.

Wagner did it all for Michigan during his sophomore season in which he averaged 13 points, seven rebounds, and three assists on 48 percent shooting from the field. Wagner is also a versatile offensive scorer that could stretch defenses with his 3-point shooting.

Wagner is a player that just fits on nearly every possible team. For a team like the Cavs, he makes sense and a prospect that you can stick and play. He can also develop his skills in the background as Collin Sexton and Darius Garland continue to dominate the ball.
