5 players that failed to live up to expectations for the 2020-21 NBA season. 

There are only a handful of regular-season games remaining before the start of the NBA Playoffs. Seeding in both conferences is still being finalized and fans will officially get their first look at the League’s new play-in tournament format over the next few weeks.

Even though there are many teams that are preparing for the postseason, there are also teams that can’t help but look back at the season that was in somewhat of a disappointing manner. Whether that be on a team front or from specific individual players. There are both teams and players that, simply put, didn’t live up to the expectations that were placed either by fans or the general media before the season.

As the season begins to wind down, we take a closer look at five players that failed to live up to expectations for the 2020-21 NBA season.
