And finally, the prospect that many NBA scouts are going to fall in love with over the next few weeks. In fact, we’ve already begun to see Josh Giddey rise up draft boards over the last week or two. Giddey is a 6-foot-8 playmaker that is still growing into his potential.

And that’s what teams will love most about him – his long-term, high ceiling potential. He has drawn comparisons to Ben Simmons, but I’m not so sure. Their games are similar in that they’re both big playmakers, but I’m not sure Giddey possesses the same explosiveness.

The big question revolves around Giddey’s shooting. If he can prove that he can be a consistent jump shooter, he’s going to soar up the pre-draft rankings. That’s what ultimately can separate him from the comparison to Simmons.

Giddey averaged 11 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists on 43 percent shooting this past season with Adelaide in the NBL.
