10. New Orleans Pelicans – James Bouknight, G, UCONN

The New Orleans Pelicans are another team with great talent and my expectation is that this team will begin to figure it out next season. In the draft, it would be wise for this team to look to add depth to their backcourt. James Bouknight is a potential fit.

Bouknight is an interesting prospect because he could likely play both the guard and wing at the next level, due to his size. Bouknight is 6-foot-5 and has good athleticism. He’ll need to work on his individual defense and has to prove he can be a consistent 3-point shooter.

Bouknight would give the Pelicans and versatile talent that the team could figure out how to use in an effective way moving forward. Believe in the Pelicans. Their best days are not too far ahead.
