13. San Antonio Spurs – Franz Wagner, F, Michigan
The San Antonio Spurs have had a relatively quiet season and are expected to be in the play-in tournament, but it’s hard to feel strong or confident about this team’s future. That said, another lottery selection would give Gregg Popovich and the Spurs another shot at finding a hidden gem.
One interesting prospect at this point in the draft is Franz Wagner. Many believe he can be a top 10 pick and Wagner has proven to be an intriguing prospect. The concerning part of Wagner’s game is that I’m not sure he does anything particularly great.
Wagner is coming off a sophomore season at Michigan in which he averaged 13 points, seven rebounds, and three assists on 34 percent shooting from 3-point range.
