24. Houston Rockets (via Milwaukee) – Ziaire Williams, G, Stanford
Looking to find a replacement for James Harden won’t be easy for the Rockets. Though, having multiple first-round draft picks will make things a bit easier for the team’s rebuild heading into the offseason.
Ziaire Williams could be a fit for the Rockets, who flashed during his freshman season at Stanford. He didn’t have the most complete freshman season this past season but did show enough in flashes which suggest his best basketball is still in front of him.
If Willaims can prove that he can be less of a streaky shooter and more consistent, he’d immediately evolve into a much more interesting prospect in the 2021 NBA Draft.
