9. Sacramento Kings – Keon Johnson, G/F, Tennessee
The Sacramento Kings are another team, such as the Timberwolves, that I simply have no real feel on what is going on inside that organization. The Kings, at least on paper, have a talented roster. For one reason or another, they have simply failed to live up to fair expectations.
In the draft, the Kings will add another wing prospect that they hope to develop into a star. This time, it’s Keon Johnson. Johnson is another player that will live off his athleticism and defensive prowess early in his career.
What makes Johnson a top 10 pick, however, is his offensive potential. If Johnson can get there on that end of the floor, he’s the type of player that could end up being one of the 2-3 best prospects from this draft class.
